Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we gonna take a look at the Side Mount Bike Rack Adapter for the Front Runner Truck Bed Platform Rack. Now, these mounts right here will let you install your Pro Power Edition Fork Mount and Thru Axle Bike Rack on the side of your Front Runner Truck Bed Platform Rack. And just to show you what we're talking about, I'm gonna pop up an insert. If you notice there, that insert will show you the platform rack with a bike attached to it.

And if you notice the highlighted black parts on there, that's these mounts right here. That's how they'll install onto the platform rack to hold your bike in place. Basically, you attach them to the rack, and it creates a nice, small stand for the bike rack. This part will include everything shown here on the table. The two bike rack adapters with the mounting brackets, and extension plate, installation hardware, and even a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how all these parts go together.

As we mentioned, this will work with the Fork Mount and Thru Axle Pro Power Edition Bike Racks, which we do sell separately on our website. And these are very easy installation on either the driver's or passenger side rack legs and slats with the included hardware. When you install these, it'll free up rack space for putting a tent, or other gear, on top of your platform rack. Now, this included extension plate we talked about. You mount this onto there, and what this does is it'll support longer wheel bases.

Now, we do also recommend to use a cable lock to secure the bike to your rack. The cable locks we do sell separately. They're listed on this product page as a related product. Goes by a part number of FR53HJ. These parts here are a nice, black powder coated steel construction, which is rust resistant.
